AIPMT 2016 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

AIPMT 2016 or All India Pre Medical / Pre Dental Entrance Test 2016 Syllabus and Exam Pattern: AIPMT is the country’s most popular joint entrance examination for medical studies in MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses in a year.

AIPMT is also known as National Eligibility Entrance Test or NEET. This year the first phase of AIPMT exam is already conducted on 1st May 2016. Over 6.5 lakhs of candidates have been appeared in the exam on May 1, 2016.

So, those who are preparing for the AIPMT exam for the next year 2017, it is necessary to know the AIPMT 2016 Syllabus and Pattern as the pattern and syllabus of this entrance test remain same every year. So, for the AIPMT 2017, we also expect that the pattern and exam syllabus would be same.

AIPMT 2016 Syllabus and Exam Pattern:

All India Pre Medical exam which is known as AIPMT or NEET is fully regulated and managed by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). The syllabus is prepared by review of various states syllabi and CBSE, NCERT syllabus and COBSE syllabus. MCI or Medical council of India is recommended the following syllabus which we will share here topic wise.

First, let us discuss about the AIPMT 2016 Exam Pattern. This exam pattern will help many aspirants who are planning to appear next year. It’s really important to understand the pattern of the test correctly so that you can make a well prepared strategy for it and also executed it well.

AIPMT 2016 Exam Pattern and related Information:

  • It is a bi-lingual exam. That is aspirants can give the exam in English / Hindi language according to their choice.
  • Total duration of the exam is 180 minutes i.e 3 Hours.
  • Time started from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM.
  • Mode of Test: Offline, Pen and Paper based exam. Aspirants need to answer on the OMR sheet using Ball point pen.
  • Total no of questions = 180 and total marks= 720.
  • It is a multiple choice objective type test. For each question, 4 alternatives are there. Candidates need to choose the correct answer.
  • 1 mark will be deducted as a penalty for every wrong selection of answer and 4 marks will be added on every correct selection.
  • No. Of Subjects = three. Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Biology consists of the syllabus of both Botany and Zoology.
