Grab The Tools, Your Bathroom Needs A Facelift

We are all in touch with having so many things we want to change or renovate in our home but simply not having the time or resources to accomplish that goal. What many people do not realize is that a room can be completely revamped without ever needed to hire a professional or knock down a wall. No matter what it is you are trying to overcome with your bathroom, there is a simple fix that can create the aesthetic you are looking for without costing a fortune.

The Problem: Bland Bathroom

The Solution: Have you always dreamed of having the kind of bathroom that would make your guests jealous? While we may not all be able to have luxurious bathrooms that are just as large as our bedrooms, how you style the room can bring the luxury. Simple additions such as designer bath accessories and having clean linens throughout the space will give the allusion of an expensive décor without costing you a fortune.

The Problem: Small Bathroom
The Solution: Simple answer is paint. It is amazing how much a change of color can completely transform a room. When it comes to making a space look larger than it is, do not use really dark colors that are going to close it in and make it cave-like. Instead try warm pastels and lighter colors in the room. If you really want to get adventurous making one wall on the far side from the door a different color (accent wall) will elongate the space and make it look larger.

The Problem:  You Hate Everything about Your Bathroom
The Solution: Maybe you can’t quite put your finger on what exactly the problem is with your bathroom. You know you no longer like it (or maybe you never did) and that is all you are sure of. Do not panic because utilizing both styling and painting in a space will still be inexpensive. Get some designer bath accessories, luxury towels, and some buckets of paint and you are ready to get moving on transforming that space that is driving you crazy.

Next time you are ready to run to the demolition crew when you are frustrated or unhappy with a space in your room, remember that there are a lot of things you can do yourself that will save a lot of time and money. You never know how much you will love a simple restyling of a space until you give it a try.
