How To Do A Night Out In Vegas: 12 Great Hours

How many times have you been to Las Vegas? No matter if this is going to be your first trip or your hundred and first, you want to make sure that you have a great time. To do that properly, you have to know how to do a night out in Vegas so you can soak up as much of the fun as possible. Here’s a short and simple guide to have a great time out when you head to the fast, fun, and sometimes sinful desert city.

7PM to 8PM
The clubs usually open around 10:30PM or so, but that’s probably not where you are going to want to start your night. Backtrack a bit to somewhere around 7PM. This is going to be a good time to have some dinner. You have many options when it comes to grabbing a bite to eat in the city, and the buffet might be your first choice. Sure, it’s a great way to maximize the amount that you can eat for less money, but it might not be the best option if you are going to head out, dance on a crowded and hot dance floor and imbibe a few alcoholic drinks later. The smarter option is to have something that’s a bit lighter than a buffet, but that will fill your stomach so that you aren’t starving later.

8PM to 11PM
After spending an hour or so at dinner with your friends, it’s time to find one of the local lounges to visit or to play a few games. You could play blackjack or slots at one of the casinos for a little while and then head into a lounge. Some of the popular lounges include Beatles’ Revolution Lounge in the Mirage, the Shadow Bar in Caesar’s Palace, and the Cathouse Lounge at the Luxor. Make sure that you don’t overdo it on the adult beverages in the lounge. You want to pace yourself and have a great evening.

11PM to 4:30AM
When it’s time to hit the club, you will want to roll in around 11 or so, perhaps a little later if you were having luck at a table or the slots, or you were enjoying the lounge. LAX in the Luxor and Haze in the Aria are two of the best clubs in the city. If you get into one of the clubs and find out that it’s just not your scene, then you will always be able to head to another one before the night is out.

4:30AM to 7AM
It’s a good time to walk the casino floors a bit and make sure that you come down a bit from being in the club. Play a few more games and wait for the breakfast spots to open. Grab something light for breakfast and then head back to your room for some sleep.
