The Top Five Most Expensive Jaguar Cars

Everyone knows that Jaguar cars are known for their luxurious appeal and speed. What you may not know is that some Jaguars are much more expensive than others. While many of the most expensive models fall into one price range, there is one that stands above the rest and will set you back a pretty penny. The following are the top five most expensive Jaguar cars.

#5: 1957 Jaguar XK-SS 3.4 litre straight 6 RWD – $1,180,000

The 1957 Jaguar XK-SS had the ability to hit 149 mile per hour and go from 0 to 62 in 5.2 seconds. While it was certainly a fast car for its time, what really made this car special was the look. With more curves than Marilyn Monroe, this car had the ability to turn heads and leave people gawking. Of course, the 254 horsepower was certainly impressive. If you’ve got the money to purchase one of these remodeled beauties, you’re sure to capture everyone’s attention.

#4: 2003 Jaguar XF10 Concept 7 litre V10 RWD – $1,180,000

Skip forward almost 50 years and the Jaguar XF10 Concept car was another one of the most expensive Jaguars available. With the ability to hit speeds of 210 mph and 646 horsepower, this was a muscle car that any man would fall in love with. Unfortunately, it was a concept car and may be impossible to find. If you can find it, you will love the ability to hit 62 miles per hour in only 3.8 second.

#3: 2010 Jaguar C-X75 Concept 4 electric motors AWD – $1,180,000

Another newer model on the list is the 2010 Jaguar C-X75 Concept car that featured 4 electronic motors. While not as fast as #4 on the list, it still had the ability to hit 205 mph and had 780 horsepower and the ability to hit 62 in 3.4 seconds. What was really special about this concept car, besides the power from electric engines, was the look. This was one sexy car.

#2: 1990 Jaguar XJR-15 6 litre V12 RWD – $1,180,000

The Jaguar XJR-15 was a special car of the early 1990s that was touted as being the fastest expensive road car customized for the race track. The car could hit speeds of up to 191 mph with 450 horsepower. While it did take up to 4.05 second to hit 62 mph, it was still a fast car for the early 1990s.

#1: 1966 Jaguar XJ13 5 litre V12 RWD – $8,820,000

What could possibly make a car worth over $8 million? For the 1966 Jaguar XJ13 it has to be the looks. The long, curvy model had an amazing 509 horsepower, which was pretty impressive in 1966. While the top speed was only 170 mph, it did have the ability to reach 62 in 3.4 seconds.

There’s no denying the fact that Jaguars are luxury cars. With prices reaching over $8 million for some of the previous models, it’s no wonder why Jaguar remains one of the most popular luxury brands.
