What Beaches Are In Vegas That You Must Know?

In South-western United States, Nevada is a landlocked state and Las Vegas is in the middle of a desert. Las Vegas is among the driest, sunniest and least humid locations in all of North America. But several river systems and dam-formed lakes lace the Silver State, and are enjoyed by all.

Las Vegas, Spanish for ‘The Meadows’ bills itself as the entertainment capital of the world. With more AAA Five Diamond hotels than any city in the world, it leads the hospitality industry globally. It usually ranks as one of the world’s most visited tourist destination annually. The city is also a popular destination for those sharing interests in films, literature, television programs, and music videos. Las Vegas forms a major financial, commercial, and cultural centre for Nevada.

Asking what beaches there are in Vegas may seem like a no-brainer to some people. But it all depends on how one defines beach. The fact is there are no natural beaches in Vegas. As this town does not take no for an answer, several resort properties went ahead and created their own oasis. Some of them are listed below:

Mandalay Bay Beach : The 11 acres of beach is equipped with three pools, a river, Moorea Beach Club for adults only and a surf beach. Also, guests at the Mandalay can enjoy sun at the beach and rent one of the 100 cabanas, day beds and beach bungalows.

VooDoo Beach : The Rio Las Vegas is the neon-decorated home to VooDoo Beach. VooDoo Beach consists of real sand surrounding four swimming pools complete with waterfalls and nearby Jacuzzis. Also, they often have A-list bands performing poolside concerts. The best part is guests and non-guests can take a dip or lie down free of charge.

Hard Rock Hotel Beach Club : It is one of the hottest pool complexes in Vegas and is famous for its Sunday Pool Party known as Rehab which draws thousands to the HRH pool. The pools are surrounded by real sand and zero entry slopes to recreate the feel of a real beach.

Tao Beach : The beach at the Venetian can remind you of the beaches in Bali. This upscale oasis comes with all the luxuries like bungalows, day beds, lush and lively landscape, live DJ.

The Yacht & Beach Clubhouse and the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa : The Clubhouse offers members and their families a white sand swim zone which includes an outdoor pool, cabanas, lounge and snack bar. Also, a stay at the Westin Lake Las Vegas gives guest access to the white sand beach that lines the manmade lake. Guests can also take advantage of kayaks, paddleboards and boats which are available for rent.

It may sound outrageous to call these beaches in any sense of imagination. But they serve the purpose for traveller’s looking for their share of joy in the midst of Mojave Desert! One of the best incentives for beach lovers is that even though Las Vegas is tucked away in the desert a short drive leads to sandy California beaches.
