With cushions, you can either go straight to the point “Merry Christmas”. Try to aim for a pillow that has a more subtle message but still gives you a Christmas message. There are many brands out there that sell Christmas themed bedding and cushions.

A Colour scheme is another way to get into the festive spirit. You want to make sure that it is matching with the colours of the decorations around the bedroom. It can either be the classic red and green or, you can choose white and silver.

Rustic Decorations

If you have a guest room, this will be the perfect room to get some festive decorations around the room. If you are going to be executing guests over the Christmas period. These can be simple fairy lights around the walls that you can either tape up or hang around the round.

It doesn’t have to be your wall decorations either. You can even include vintage style candles that are scattered around the room. Not only will this give it more of a Christmas spirit. It also sets the mood for Christmas.

Candles, Candles Everywhere

Candles are a great addition to any room to get your home into the festive spirit. You have the choice of buying candles that need to be lit by fire or LED candles to avoid a fire hazard. To add to the rustic theme, make sure that the candles are at different heights to make them a little more creative.

If you have any shelves in your room, add a candle set on top of the shelf as well. Whether your candles are a real flame or LEDs, candles are a great way to add to the Christmas spirit.

You could also have a small soap gift set. It doesn’t need to be too complicated, just something that shows you are including them as part of the festive celebrations.
